FAQs
Below you’ll find answers to some of the questions I’m most frequently asked.
What are your counselling session rates?
My standard rate for counselling sessions is $135 + GST CAD for 50 minutes session or $200 + GST CAD for 90 minute session. However, I understand that financial considerations can be a barrier to seeking support, and I am open to discussing sliding scale or package rate options to ensure accessibility for all clients.
Is counselling covered by insurance?
While I am not covered by MSP (Medical Services Plan of Canada/Public Health Insurance), I am affiliated with several insurance providers, including Sunlife, Pacific Blue Cross, Equitable Life of Canada, ClaimSecure, and GroupSource. For clients with other insurance providers, I am happy to provide support in navigating the claims process and can provide letters of support to facilitate claim approval.
What can counselling help me with?
I work with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, stress, low self-esteem, and personal growth. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and tailored to you.
